En poliskontapel (s k London Bobby) på patrulltjänst. Namnet efter påskyndaren till The Metropolitan Police, Sir Robert Peels förnamn. 1899 bestod Metropolitan Police av 16.000 personer och Londons befolkning hade ökat till 7 millioner innevånare
